Powerful periodic cleaner for removing limescale and grease from waste water tanks

Thetford’s Duo Tank Cleaner Chemical is ideal for when your waste tanks need a deep clean. This heavy-duty cleaner will extend the lifespan of your tanks, removing, dirt, grime and limescale to prevent wear and deterioration to your waste tank. Thetford’s special formula ensures this cleaning can take part without any effort on your part – no scrubbing is required!

Thetford have imbued this orange cleaner with an attractive citrus fragrance, ensuring your grey water tank and waste tank will smell even better than they did when new. This concentrated cleaner is designed not to damage your cassette toilet’s waste tank, shower’s grey waste water tank, or sink grey water tank This makes it perfect for cleaning and renewing water systems on campervans, motorhomes and caravans. 

Usage

Before use

Thetford recommend that you empty each tank at least 16 hours before application. If possible, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Thetford recommends that you use this toilet chemical 2-3 times a year for the best results.

Cassette Waste Holding Tank

1. Add 200ml to the empty tank
2. Add 5L of lukewarm water
3. Shake the tank vigorously several times to ensure all corners are cleaned. Driving with the cassette will also improve cleaning performance. Carefully vent the internal pressure before opening the blade.

Grey Water Tank

1. Add 600ml to the empty tank via the sink of showerdrain
2. Add 50L of lukewarm water
3. Drive with your camper, motorhome or caravan for at least an hour in order to cover all sides of the tank.
